About me & the Eastern Sierra Experience

Hi!

I’m Gigi and I’m madly in love with the Eastern Sierra. I’ve lived in Bishop for almost 20-years, exploring and experiencing the eastside of California. For the past 8-years I’ve published articles about my gorgeous hometown and all there is to do here. Countless hours of investigating, photographing, and, best of all, enjoying the Eastern Sierra has produced a treasure trove of information that just gets bigger and better.

I’d like to share it with you.

This site started out with aim of creating a platform for all events that happen in our region, from Lone Pine to Bridgeport along US-395, and in neighboring communities near Death Valley, Yosemite, and western Nevada. There’s so much happening! But sometimes smaller community events are hard to find, and unless you know where to look, or you subscribe to a ton of email lists, it’s easy to miss out.

Folks often tell me, “Oh, I would have gone to that, if only I’d known.” Or “I’d plan my trip to coincide with an event, but I can’t always find out what’s happening.”

My site, Eastern Sierra Experience, is a comprehensive resource to find events, attractions, and activities in the entire Eastern Sierra and little bit beyond.

All articles and information pages are written by me, and all photography (unless otherwise attributed) is my own.

I hope you fall in love with my backyard too and share the love with your family and friends.

Jump for joy that I live in the Eastern Sierra. This is me near Minaret Vista at Mammoth Lakes.
